About this deal
Lagos Foods Co. imports rice, beans, palm oil and dried fish from verified Nigerian suppliers and distributes to independent African and Caribbean grocers across London and Birmingham. Founded in 2019 by Tunde Adeyemi, the business has grown from a single delivery route to supplying over 60 retailers.
This raise funds a bulk container order timed to lock in pre-harvest pricing, cutting unit costs by an estimated 14% versus spot-buying through the year. Funds are drawn down once the deal closes and repaid from wholesale receivables over the following 18 months.

How this indicative return is calculated: principal × 11% ÷ 6 quarterly instalments, paid alongside a portion of principal each quarter. Example: a £1,000 investment would be projected to return approximately £1,110 in total across six quarterly payments — this is Tunde's proposed structure, agreed directly with each investor, not a Root ASAP-administered schedule.
Proposed repayment schedule
This is Tunde's stated plan for repaying investors directly. Root ASAP does not track, hold, or enforce these payments — treat it as a starting point for what you agree together.

What happens if the container shipment is delayed past the harvest window?
TA
Tunde Adeyemi Business owner
We've built a 3-week buffer into the schedule and have a backup supplier on standby. Repayment dates are set from container arrival, not order date, so a short delay wouldn't affect your schedule.
DO
David O. Investor
Is the 11% return fixed regardless of how well the containers sell?
TA
Tunde Adeyemi Business owner
Yes — this is a fixed-interest deal, so your return doesn't change with sales performance. It's repaid from wholesale receivables regardless of margin on any single shipment.
